Brian is married with three adult children. He enjoys writing , travelling, following sport, and in past years tramping in the mountains. He also has a background in music being in the past a member of the Celebration Singers (which travelled NZ extensively, performed on television and making four LP records), the Royal Music Society and the Christchurch City Choir.
